Challenge

Google’s content studio department needed local visuals from hundreds of cities, on a budget. They had two goals: capture neighborhoods in select cities and capture points of interest around the globe. They turned to Snapwire for help.

Solution

Google photo editors provided three photo recommendations for each neighborhood, but also encouraged local photographers express the unique culture of their area. Snapwire quickly recruited at least one photographer per city—24 cities in total. Within six weeks, Google’s content studio department was able to select their favorite photos from a repository of thousands.
