The Columbia is one of 2 remaining steamers still afloat. Her sister ship, SS St. Clair still awaits her fate. The Columbia is getting a new lease on life and a 15 million dollar restoration by way of the SS Columbia Project. She is expected to return to service in 2020, cruising between NYC and the Hudson River Valley as a cruise ship.
