I took this photo in November 2015. Unfortunately this statue isn't there anymore. It was rumored that it was stolen in April 2016. Later on it was clarified that this version is not the original one. The original one is safe in the Mahmoud Mokhtar museum named after the sculptor (in Cairo) but the one in this picture (in Alexandria) is a copy & it was in a very bad state (the left side/elbow is broken). photo
