Description:

The Wahweap Hoodoos are located along the southern border of the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument, in Utah. They are a great and unique example of erosion. The white towers are composed of Entrada sandstone. Protected from erosion by the Dakota sandstone rocks above, they became towers as everything surrounding them was washed away.
