For this particular photo of Kananaskis Lake I wanted to challenge myself and get a unique perspective where nobody else thought of shooting. In the end I incorporated some fall colors using the yellow flowers in the foreground which is blurred and with the lake in the background in sharp focus. I remember my photographer friend telling us that you can get a different shot from 5 or 10 feet of where everyone else is shooting. photo
