Description:

The Site of Reversible Destiny is an “experience park” where you will encounter the unexpected. The park was designed by artists Shusaku Arakawa and Madeline Gins and is made up of steep hills, pitch dark rooms, deep holes with trees in them. The Insect Mountain Range is a tall pile of rocks to show us that humans don’t have to be subjugated to the natural world and humans can create alternative nature. Then there is Critical Resemblance House, is part house, part maze. The roof is made in likeness of Gifu Prefecture and scattered about are desks, ovens, refrigerators, toilets, beds jutting out of walls and sticking out of the ceiling. Exactitude Ridge is a bridge sticking out of the ground that stops and goes nowhere. You have to crawl inside where there are holes in the wall. Destiny House is on top of a giant map of Japan and represents ruins of an ancient building. Kinesthetic Pass resides in the area that represents Kyushu with furniture slightly more useable in part because they’re not halfway through a wall or ceiling. Everything here feels a bit off because of all the angles but certain to adjust your sensory perception if not your destiny.
