Banryutei Stone Garden - Kongobuji is the head temple of the Shingon sect of Buddhism, located on Mount Koya or Koyasan. Its name means "Temple of the Diamond Mountain" and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The temple's modern Banryutei rock garden is Japan's largest Zen Garden with 140 granite stones arranged to suggest dragons emerging from clouds to protect the temple.
