I'd like a photo that shows how a real person with dementia looks/acts. I like both of these that I'm attaching, but would prefer something in color.
Photo should not look like stock photo. Great lighting please. Capture the mood of the person, but not overly depressing. It's okay to be edgy and maybe have a bit of dark humor to it (my mom has dementia so I know that there are moments where we just have to smile). The accompanying article speaks to the economic hardship of caring for people with dementia—not sure how or if this needs to be conveyed. An extreme close up of their hands or face would be lovely as an option, although (just as I've shown with the two examples here) a sense of the space is also good.
Please shoot in color.
