Rural Telecommunications

Annual report cover
Buyer review complete, Marketplace review

A shot overlooking a rural town in the not-too-far distance, you can see the telephone/power lines, perhaps at dusk or sunset when you may see lights on in buildings/houses (not limited to late-day shots).

Stunning image needed for annual report cover. May select additional vertical/horizontal photos for supporting imagery in interior pages. Several shots requested.

The creative concept/challenge: Strength in numbers. The client: U.S. rural telecommunications company, bringing together a variety of companies to supply rural/agricultural towns with mobile, wireless, broadband, telephone, internet, TV and other electric and technological utility solutions.

The lighting: bright and clear sky (unless shooting dusk/sunset shot for cover)
The vantage point: we want to be peeking in on our subject(s), if there are people in the shot, we don't want them to be looking at the camera or aware we are taking the shot. Any people in the shot should look professional in their trade (likely no suits or ties, nor cut off shorts).

Creative background: the annual report will be very clean, bright and industrial, with hard lines and blocks of information. Color palette of the annual report will be white, gray, and an azure-based blue. One concept may include or support infographics. Report will be approximately 8.5" x 10.5" in size, and will likely need a 4" x 4" area for logo/copy (either top, bottom, or right corners of cover).

8 years ago - Thank you so much! I am grateful for the nomination. Hope the photo would be accomplished for your requirement!
8 years ago - Ground perspective is okay, if it includes a town & not just power lines. It is for a vertical cover, so would prefer to be vertical, unless it is horizontal enough (and high enough resolution) to stretch across both the front and back cover (16 inches wide), which I'm willing to consider.
8 years ago - Question for the town shots, would you consider a ground perspective that shows what you need or does it have to be from above? Also, can that shot be horizontal? I ask that because capturing the essence of buildings and lines for what you described would be very limited in a vertical frame. Thanks!

8 years ago - Thanks for the nominations. I'll see what I can do to get rural + towers/lines. Thanks again!
8 years ago - Appreciate the submissions thus far. No need for additional tower-only shots, unless there is a technician working on it. Prefer shots of rural towns with towers or the lines visible, and need images that can be vertical. We won't be considering dreary/misty shots. Hope this is helpful feedback.
