Chasing Light: The best photo will be awarded $225. In addition, the most creative shots will be chosen for the Snapwire Collection.
A photographers favorite past time: chasing light! I want to challenge everyone to get out and really find every sliver of light you can and shoot it in a creative way. Find a subject or simply use the light source as your subject. My best advice is to play with different times of days and various types of sunlight. Sure, sunrise and sunset are the preferred golden hour but don't be afraid to shoot midday with harsh light for a bit more of a challenge. With this, I want to get everyone out thinking about how they can shoot in any light and not just the golden rule. Good luck and can't wait to see what you come up with!
