The idea of travel

The world is a big place, with so many beautiful places to visit - so where to go next?
The shots should be object focused, so no models or people please. We still need the shot to communicate the story whereby the consumer (i.e. the POV of the shot) is spoilt for choosing their next destination.
Avoid showing maps and globes - those have been explored already. If possible to get across the idea of travel without getting into the detail of showing actual destinations and/or types of holiday (i.e. backpacking versus luxury resort) that would be ideal.

The shots should have some drama to them by way of image composition, cropping, depth of field etc. And ideally the color palette would be vibrant and attractive. The cover image is the one we have approved to date - and the sample image is the shortlisted option so far.
