Adventure: The best photo will be awarded $250. In addition, I'll be choosing the most creative shots for the Snapwire Premium Collection.

One of the best aspects of a great adventure photograph is how it can inspire us and awaken our desire for exploration and curiosity. I want to see your truly epic shots, the photos that take us away to another place, inspire our wanderlust, or even make us a bit anxious. These are the photos that you climbed a mountain to get, or crossed a raging river, or even just ducked a fence in your own city. Seeing people in the adventure is always great, but not necessary. Get creative and be adventurous!

Congratulations to @shanchrisphoto who nailed it with his wonderful composition. It's impossible not to feel a sense of adventure and possibility when viewing his shot. Thanks to all!

10 years ago - Loving all the submissions coming in. Make sure to think about the perspective on the shot, and how you can capture the essence of being on an adventure. I'm seeing plenty of the classic, "one person shot from behind looking out" - let's shake it up and try a new angle! Maybe some action?
