Snapwire Challenges have been used to promote and inspire photographers through many themes in the past and this challenge is to celebrate and share not only Black members of our creator community, but the stories and lives of the models and subjects within their imagery.
As we push forward the desire to create authentic content within our work, we also want to be authentic and vulnerable with our community. Systematic change won’t happen overnight, but we look inward on how we will improve as an organization and individuals to help serve Black photographers, videographers, and artists.
The ongoing struggle many of our creators face is not lost on us, as it does not matter the lengths we have already achieved in this fight, but rather how we continue to foster the flame for growth in ourselves, in our cities, and in the content creation industry. We are passionately hopeful to make a difference together with Snapwire as your ally.
