This challenge is about things that are Fragile. The best photo gets $100, and the most creative will be chosen for the Premium Collection.

Be careful not to drop the subjects of this photo challenge. This Snapwire Challenge focuses on things that are fragile, easily broken, or extremely delicate. We want to see the things around you that you would handle with care. Your subject can be anything from a simple egg to the finest of China. If it's fragile, then it's just what we want for this challenge. Good Luck and Happy Shooting!

10 years ago - Thank you so much for the nomination!!! It really means a lot :)
10 years ago - @jasco - as an Explorer, if you get 1 nomination, you move up to Advance right away (essentially by-passing the Shooter level). We are working on changing this so one can actually be a Shooter through a nomination.
10 years ago - Thank you for the nomination !!
10 years ago - Ok thanks Daniel. I have been in love with cameras since I was a kid. When I found this site I was thrilled to have a place to share my photos and to admire the work of others.

10 years ago - @torifelice - Hi I was just looking at the comments. You said that you thought the picture of the turtle was plagiarized. You aren't talking about the one of the hands holding the turtle are you? that's my photo. It's not plagiarized. Every photo on page was taken by me.

10 years ago - @danielle, I know everyone starts at the beginning, and I'm not talking about my pics in particular, I was just making an observation on the nominations in general.
10 years ago - Thank you very much for the nominations :)
10 years ago - Thank you for the nomination! You put a smile on my face! Hope the smiles are passed around to all my fellow photographers. Thanks again!
10 years ago - Agree with Manuel. The requests typically have less people who are submitting photos, depending on how much detail is involved in the shot.
10 years ago - @jasoco You have to decide if you want to submit the photos you like or the ones they need. In my case, I've had better chances getting nominations and selling photos on Requests than Challenges.
10 years ago - @Jaime- We were all Explorers once. It just takes time. Also, it helps to watch what's being nominated and try and emulate those. It's better to pick one or two challenges at a time and work on submitting quality than shoot a hundred photos and submit to everything.
10 years ago - Thanks:))
10 years ago - I see really great photos from explorers and shooters. But they are never nominated, it seems as if you only get nominations if you're advanced and above, researched all the categories and its a trending thing...what's up with that

10 years ago - Thank you very much for following me Danielle, I appreciate it! I agree with you about stealing pictures. If my photos are not good enough for Snapwire, they are still mine. Doesn't mean they're bad. Is just they're not what they are looking for.

10 years ago - Thanks Manuel, for the compliments on my gallery. You have some beautiful work too. I hope you don't mind I followed you. I don't understand what people gain from stealing other people's work and claiming as their own. Photography is such a huge part of my life, and I take pride in my work.
10 years ago - Thank you Danielle. It's always good to know who's who around here. Nice gallery yours, by the way.
10 years ago - @Manuel I did a reverse lookup on Tineye and found it, along with the turtle reblogged all over, as you said. The hands with the flowers was also used in a Polyvore ad as well.
10 years ago - @torifelice Half of them, probably.
10 years ago - @afdani I've seen it on Tumblr. It's been rebloged for three years or so.
10 years ago - I think I've seen the one of the hands holding the blue flowers in an ad before. Interesting.
10 years ago - Thanks for the nomination! The one of the baby turtle however is plagiarized... It looks like most of her photos may be
