Photos inspire travel. They inspire us to see more of our world, and help us learn about places we never knew existed. Tripstr 2.0 (in private beta) is the easiest way to discover where you'll go on your next trip, by browsing beautiful photographs. Think 'Instagram for Albums' and TripAdvisor combined

We're seeking 20 photographers to be Ambassadors for specific cities around the world. We'll feature you in our app (our past apps have all been featured on the App Store) and we'll make it easy for new Tripstr users to follow you. Think of yourself as a 'visual travel agent', helping people decide what to do in your cities.

To find nominees for our Ambassador program, we're launching this Snapwire Challenge and aside from selecting winners we'll be reaching out to all the participants that tell a great visual story of 'An Awesome Day in [your city here]'.

Requirements of becoming a Tripstr ambassador:
- Either your camera has GPS enabled, or you're willing to apply GPS coordinates to the photos you intend to post (there are plenty of programs for this)
- You have an iPhone or iPad with iOS 8+ installed
- You have taken photo sets (or will take soon) that span a day or a few contiguous days. Tripstr is meant for real trips, no faking!
- You're willing to endorse the Tripstr app on Social Media

Obviously you'll want to try out the app and decide if it's a product you would like to endorse! Reach out to me for early access.

9 years ago - We just purchased two photos that we'll be using prominently in our marketing material! I want to thank everyone that participated, we got way more participants than we expected. We have a small budget for purchasing, but are extremely excited to now be working with many of you building Tripstr!!

9 years ago - 2) We built an app last week called Taggr. It's a simple utility built specifically for photographers to help them geotag photos and videos. We're going to submit it to the App Store soon but if you want to try it early for iPhone/iPad let us know at hi@tripstr.com

9 years ago - @tripstr Thank-You for the nominations amongst so many amazing and interesting places. I will be photographing the conservation parks at the Illinois /Wisconsin border this year, about 47 parks with hiking trails. They might work for day trips. Thanks Again !

9 years ago - @lxsphoto the ambassador relationship isn't currently paid. We'll just be featuring our ambassadors when someone is exploring a specific city in the Tripstr app. That being said, we are going to be running a contest next where we pay for some of our ambassadors to go on a trip and use the app!

9 years ago - Hi @tripstr. I uploaded some photos showing great places here in Sydney. I have more of them and can shoot more if necessary. I have both Iphone and Ipad. Downloaded the app by which I can add GPS data to my photos. I am shooting with my Canon DSLR camera as well as iPhone5. Tripstr is a great idea!
9 years ago - I'm disappointed that one must own an iPhone or iPad. I have a number of high quality photos showing San Diego, however I use an android phone, so I am not eligible for this or to be an ambassador. Please let us know, should you decide to make Tripstr available for the rest of us.
