Creative Statement

I live on a farm with my wonderful husband, several horses, my golden retriever and my seven very silly chickens. I love animals in that ‘they are like family’ sort of way, even when they are not even actually mine. It’s the little things in life that make me happy: a great book, clothes straight out of the dryer when they are all warm and smell good, a cup of hot chocolate, good music, friends, my boyfriend, when it rains really hard, thunderstorms, snow, when the leaves change, etc. When I look at the world I see the details, the small things. It’s the details that really matter. I’m not sure what to do with my life and I change my mind all the time but I know that the people in my life are there for me no matter what I decide to do so I take my time and make sure that I chose the right path. I consider myself to be a very lucky person and for that and so much more, I am grateful.
