Grilling Fish at Taling Chan Floating Market, located on the canal Khlong Chak Phra and open only on weekends. Orchard produce such as fruits, and vegetables, as well as fish are sold from boats. The idea for the floating market here was initiated in 1987 to honor King Bhumibol's 60th birthday. This is a new attraction since floating markets, an old way of life for the Thai people, had vanished from Bangkok for some time only to be revived at Taling Chan
