Creative Statement

I've always had a passion for photography, and have just recently ben able to scrape enough money together to get a decent DSLR, and I've been in love from the moment I picked it up. I'm hoping this site will challenge me to try new types of shots and bolster my skill set. My favorite subjects, by far, are children. Kids always seem to be doing something interesting, and their activities tend to be things we can all relate to. A toddler kicking a ball that is comically half his size, for example, is something we can all appreciate and can all remember doing in our childhood. I also enjoy flora as subjects, because there an almost infinite level of complexity and beauty in any given flower.
