Creative Statement
So I best introduce myself. My name is Andrew Haslam, and this is my portfolio website. Media has always been a passion of mine, my phone is completely full of edited and un-edited photos and video. Everywhere I go, I always have a camera by my side. Always on the look for the next photo or video opportunity from a new angle.
Media has been a craft I have loved from a young age, I bought my first camera when I was 5 (a Vivitar ViviCam 4090) constantly taking photos & looking at life from the all important new angles. Over time I upgraded my camera, small steps at a time until I got my first DSLR / Mirrorless, the Sony a6500 which is my current pride and joy.
Unfortunately, my school didn't provide a media choice, but I plan to move onto college to study media or photography. I have learnt a lot in my own time, building up my own knowledge. Looking up to people such as Jed Lilley for inspiration. I have had the pleasure of working with some great clients as well as hosting my own radio show, and have even been featured in the S40 Local magazine. I am constantly building up my portfolio of work and always look forward to the next project.
And so at the age of 16, here I am.
