Creative Statement

I'm Adriean. I'm a wife, a daughter, and a friend. I am the mother of 3 adorable puppies, which I am proud to say are all rescues :) Some people may think I am crazy, but I can't even kill a bug... I make my husband kill the spiders--but only if absolutely necessary! I'm originally from the quaint little town of Preston, which is located at the heart of the Eastern Shore. I was raised by my dad and my grandmother-- who is my role model, my inspiration, and who my business is named after! I am a simple girl. I love coffee, crochet, and a cuddling by a fire. I am a sucker for old family recipes, a porch swing, and the warmth of the sun on my face. I love the carefree sound of a child's laughter, and the deep rumble of an approaching thunderstorm. I am OBSESSED with sunsets, and have been known to chase them down just to soak in the beauty of those few precious minutes left in a day. I value my friends, family, and my career. Not only am I a photographer, I am a Family Support Worker, and I am currently studying to become an elementary school teacher. Although I have been an artist since I was a little girl, I wasn't sure exactly what kind of artist I wanted to be... that is, until I discovered photography. I was instantly enthralled by the beauty of telling a story through my work, and blessed by the incredible people that this business brings into my life. I am a total sapp when it comes to romance & chivalry, and there is nothing that I am more passionate about than capturing the genuine love between two people. I care deeply about my work, and I still have to shake off the nerves before every shoot. However, I am extremely fortunate to have an incredible husband who is my coach, my rock, and my right-hand. He is always pushing me to become the best possible person that I can be-- throughout my personal and professional life. That's my story, but I would love to get to know you and document your story!
