Award-winning Toronto based freelance visual storyteller Jon Blacker brings his equipment and years of experience to every project. Working in stills and video with editorial, commercial and corporate clients in Canada, the United States and overseas, Jon always gets you the images you need. Among others, Jon has worked with The Canadian Press, Reuters, The New York Times, Sports Illustrated, Major League Baseball Photos, The Hockey News, National Post, The Globe and Mail, FINA, The International Paralympic Committee, Fender Musical Instruments, Loucin Guitar Company, The Sporting News, Roadrunner Records Canada and many others, including a wide range of restaurants in the Toronto area. In 2013, Jon published his first book, Musical Ink, a collection of infrared portraits of musicians and their tattoos. Artists photographed include members of Guns n' Roses, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Slayer and more.
