Creative Statement
I’m a laid back, too genuine old soul from the hills and bluegrass fields of Eastern Kentucky. I grew up with imagination; seeing and making exciting adventures out of nothing! I’m still seeing excitement in the old or dull. Instead of turning a piece of driftwood that landed in the slow running creek in my back yard into my hide out and safe zone during hide-and-seek, I now take pictures of it so I can memorialize it’s sadness and beauty. We never lose our imagination as we grow up....we only gain a different perspective and appreciation for all things. I like to try and capture that thought and moment in my pictures. When you look at my pictures, love them for their beauty but let them take you back in time to that special place that was all yours as a kid....and smile!! Thank you!
