Creative Statement
I am a fine art photographer living in Brooklyn with my son and tiny dog, drawn to the visual poetry I find both in nature and the city streets. Longtime devotee to analog processes in black and white via the magic of the Holga, I also work in color to capture documentary-style images made in natural light of whatever strikes me as beautiful, strange or both. My photographs have been exhibited in Maine, New York, London, San Francisco and Vietnam, and have been featured in Shots and The Photo Review. I am always watching and waiting for those rare moments of transcendence when the ordinary becomes extraordinary.
