Mark Wood came late to photography. Having spent most of his career in TV getting programmes sponsored, he recently decided to take his lifelong hobby seriously. After an intensive course at London School of Photography, he was selected to be mentored by World Press and Prix Pictet award winner Simon Norfolk. This was organised by The Photographer’s Gallery in Soho, where Mark hopes one day to exhibit! Mark particularly likes to explore street portraiture and urban landscapes; two such images were published in The Guardian in the last year. He does not accept invitations to photograph weddings.
