Creative Statement

I'm 30, living in San Diego, CA. This is my hometown and I love it. I believe in working for what you want in life, cause nothing is given, and since I want a lot, I work a lot. I don't follow the "norm" nor will I ever, I always seem to approach things differently, and it works for me for the most part, so why change. Sure there are bumps in the road, but that's life, and you only fail if you let the little things stop you in your drive to the bigger picture. I didn't go to college, although I kind of wish I got to experience that, but I couldn't afford college so I worked and started my own businesses instead. I came to the realization a long time ago that I wasn't going to get anywhere working for anybody, because I always got the jobs no body else wanted. I am a firm believe in family before work though, so I make sure to make time for the people in my life and not let my work keep me from them. Life is short, and you need to make time for the ones you love otherwise your going to miss out. Aside from working at my shop, and doing the faux finishes and murals in homes, I am working on finally completing this little project my friend and I have been working on. Pretty sure thats enough insight into who I am for now, right? haha
