Creative Statement

For the last 13 years, hundreds of thousands of people have known me as "Aunt Clara", the face, camera and voice behind Aunt Clara's Kitchen (www.dominicancooking.com), the award-nominated, and award-winning food blog. My photos, articles and recipes have appeared in magazines, books, newspapers and TV from Moscow to Denver. My photography is also available through the world's most prestigious food photography agency. My life in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, is reflected in pictures full of vibrant, realistic colors, and influenced by the flavors of the Caribbean.
