Do I think one person can make a difference? I do think we can make a difference otherwise what's the point of doing anything? I remember college when I declared myself a republican and my mind was closed to anything different (thinking I could do nothing about anything) then I had a friend who challenged what I thought, shook the foundations of what I believed and I changed... I listened to what she said, understood where she was coming from, and I changed. I decided to stop doing something, stop believing in something just because my parents did and their parents before them. And guess what? Now I'm doing for others what she did for me. Allowing them to choose for themselves if they want to listen, if they want to open their mind to other possibilities. I refuse to believe that one person alone can do nothing about "it".
