It all began, my love of the power of photography, at age seven. I received a cheap little black and white camera as a gift and I was immediately hooked. By the age of ten, my parents happily upgraded me to a 110 camera that actually shot color images! I used that one for many years, shooting every image that was 'amazing' in my child's viewpoint. By the time I was 20 years old, I purchased my first Point and Shoot 35 mm. I thought I was in heaven until I got my hands on a Pentax SLR, then I knew I was in heaven. I've owned several cameras since then but when the digital era arrived, I couldn't take enough photos. I chose the longer route of being self-taught and I truly hope that I never stop learning more about cameras, composition, technique and editing... There is beauty in everything, just keep your eyes open, you'll see it and want to tell more stories in your art.
