My journey into the world of photography began in my early teens with a point and shoot camera and my best friend as a model. My world opened up even more when a few years later I received a Nikon D50 as a Christmas present.
I have continued to grow in my photographic abilities. I am mostly self-taught but have taken some classes at the Serenbe Photography Center and West Georgia Technical College. I am currently enrolled in Southern Crescent Technical School’s Digital Photography program which is taught by nationally recognized photographer Catherine Ritchie Park.
I am a Newnan, GA native. My accomplishments include first place and honorable mention in the Artworks on the Square Student Photography show, located in Fayetteville, GA. My work entitled “The Peacock” was accepted into the 2012 Portraits of Pike exhibition which is a satellite show of the Slow Exposures Photography Show. My work has hung in Newnan's City Hall and I was the youngest permanent artist at Farrago Gallery in Newnan. I have also been a participant in the Shake Rag Arts Festival in Peachtree City and the Inman Park Spring Festival
