Creative Statement

As a graphic designer, I used photos are inspiration and motivation. Photography became part of my creative process. I started looking for visual clues to help tell the story or to make the point. My images are an interpretation of the familiar, explored and captured, then represented as though it is seen for the first time. My aim is to return to a moment in time and share with you what I saw, what I experienced and what I felt.

As with any journey, there are highs and lows. The lows always prompted a search within me. The deeper I dug, the more I learned about myself. There was a lot I did not like, but I also found love, acceptance and healing. Searching taught me to look past the familiar. I found a new beauty inside flowers, in it's petals, it's pollen and it's symmetry. There is a lot of healing in found beauty. This what I would like to share.

My aim is to create artwork that inspires and communicates. It will tell it's own story, and over time, it will become part of your story. Thanks for visiting my site and looking at my work.
