Creative Statement
For me photography is how I share my world with others. It can be used to highlight what is seen and what is unseen. It can be used to tell a truth or a lie. It can be used to tell stories.
We as humans are primarily visually oriented. The visual cortex of the the human brain, that part dedicated to vision processing is the largest single sensory processing center we have. Images are able to evoke emotions and allow us to travel in both space and time. My aim is to present a story in each that requires both photographer and viewer to tell it. My work with the camera while satisfying for me does not reach its full potential until you view it and add your part of the story.
