Creative Statement
Marc Paulus is an award wining freelance and Fine Art Photographer with over 30 years experience as a photojournalist based in Las Vegas, Nevada. Originally from Modesto, California, Marc has called Las Vegas home for the last 14 years.
Marc's love of photography started at an early age with 2 1/4 box cameras then as a teenager moved to 35mm SLR's however as his equipment changed his unique way of seeing though the lens stayed focused.
The last three years Marc has worked with Marketing at the Stratosphere casino Hotel Tower under the leadership of Todd Ford to photograph shows like Frankie Moreno, PINUP, events like News Years Eve, 3 Wall Ball, car-shows, parties, architectural images and any other event that Marketing needed to aid in the promotion of the Stratosphere Casino Hotel and Tower.
Currently Marc fulfills the needs of editorial, commercial, sports and corporate clients with an eye for detail and a style rooted in both documentary and sports photography. Much of his work focuses on professional sports in Las Vegas.
When not on assignment or working on art projects, Marc is enjoying domestic life with his family, friends and working on keeping up with the latest technology / techniques.
