Sheila Lussier
I was born in La Mesa, CA. to Linda Jean Muse-Donoho (18) and Richard Edward Lussier (19), and deployed to Vietnam. I spent most of my youth in El Cajon, CA. With my either my Mother, Grandmother, or Great Grandmother. Growing up riding horses, and competing in horse shows and parades! I started modeling as a child doing national campaigns, fashion shows, print work, and TV commercials. When I was just 3 years old my mother, Linda moved to LA for a brief time. We lived above the Hullabaloo in Hollywood, CA. She was a dancer on the TV show, "Hullabaloo" with her best friend Brenda. I spent most of my time with Riley Kincaid aka Zana, Brenda's mother who was a very notable music manager of the time. Soon after my mother moved back home, and I continued living between both cities. While in LA I lived at my mother's two friends homes. Kitty Stuart, who lived in Bel Air & The Doheny Estate's, and Brenda Seymore, who lived in the Valley. They're both are in the Entertainment Business, and I have learned a lot from them. Moving out on my own at just 17 to the Franklin Towers in Hollywood, CA. I supported myself by doing TV commercials, and being an actor and a model. I continued my modeling and acting career while attending the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. I also studied acting with very notable teachers
At the age of 20, I became a Playboy model. I continued working with the agency for a long time although I didn't want to be a centerfold because it would have limited the commercials that I was able to book. I did enjoy working for the agency! It was like a family the girls and I became life time friends.
I have been busy throughout the 80's and 90's and presently working in many aspects of the Entertainment business. It has been a great way to afford to raise my children, and give me free time to spend with them!
I too have done stunt work on various films and TV shows. Doubling Kim Bassinger, Annette Benning, and others.. Always loving photography. I later found myself very fond of being behind the camera. I too have worked various videos as a set decorator one most notable one was for the band, Green Day. I too have been a stylist on various productions as well. I love all aspects of being creative!
In the 90's I began writing articles and doing some home lay-outs. Also covering various music and entertainment pieces. In the late 90's, I started to produce live events for major companies such as Reebok and many others. We traveled to various locations, and I had a team working for me.
In 2001, while recovering from a car accident, I wrote a booklet called, "How to get your children into show-biz!" Using all my 20 year experience as well as my children's.
In 2003, I started a commercial decorating business called, Image Interiors. I have worked for such companies as Amgen, Enterprise Rental car, UCLA, Santa Monica Medical towers as well as high end estates, hotels, and country clubs. I ended that business in 2008 because It took up too much of my time. I wanted to stay focused more on Entertainment and my family.
I Produced and Directed my first Documentary in 2005, "Life On The Road With Mr. & Mrs. James Brown." I co created it with with longtime friend Tomi Rae Brown. I also shot some of the footage. My children were involved working on this project too. I was lucky enough to have very notable entertainers be a part of this project! What an experience! I will always be grateful to Mr. Brown for giving us this opportunity!
I've shot various projects since. As well as directing my first commercial.
I have always been a people person making introductions, and helping friends obtain work in the Entertainment business. So it was very natural for me to start a management business in 2005, Image Enterprises. I also find tour support for National Acts and create bus wraps. I presently handle few name musicians dealing with their music publishing and bookings. I am also hosting a new show, "Icons USA." Amongst all my other endeavors! I have even managed to raise my three beautiful children throughout this very full career and have always remained very active in their lives. I am fondly referred to as, "the soccer mom!."
Seeing as I am always trying to mix things up, I guess you could say that I am always looking for a new challenge!
