Creative Statement

My name is Ryan Thompson; I am a landscape photographer traveling full-time in my van Topanga. I am currently roaming North America in search of adventure and telling the stories of the wild lands I encounter along the way. I graduated with a bachelors degree in graphic design, specializing in website design from SUNY Cobleskill. I have a broad range of talents in multimedia design including photography, videography, graphic design, website design with the ability to code websites HTML, CSS and JavaScript. I am proficient in and passionate about using Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and other Adobe Suite software to tell stories.


Now I work remotely as a freelance graphic designer, photographer, and web designer. I specialize in capturing my client’s brand and stories through multimedia projects. Graphic Design is a fun way to express my thoughts in different ways, but my passion is photography. Being an active person and always on the run to explore anything, I always have my camera with me and enjoy shooting landscape, forest scenes and action photos. I am an avid backpacker, biker, climber, boarder and anything else you can think of to get you from point A to B. I am always traveling and enjoy new adventures to keep my mind fresh and love taking photos of things that are off the beaten path
