Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, my parents taught me to love everything the city had to offer. They also taught me determination, passion for my dreams and never letting go of what really matters. "The only failure in life is not trying at all'".... I can still hear my Father saying that. It is what drives me to succeed. My parents inspired me to capture all of those things, to create something beautiful, and hold on to it. They both wanted us to see the beauty in the world, appreciate what we have, and remember where we have been.
Newly retired from retail after 22 years, I have the chance to focus on my passion, Photography. I fell in love with art at a very young age and remember my very first trip to the MET in New York city. I was so fascinated with the beautiful paintings, the stories they told and how old they were. I guess that is where my love of antiques came from. I started taking pictures as a hobby and it soon turned into a passion for the "shot". Seeing the extraordinary in everyday things, catching the light a certain way or just being able to capture that moment.
